This is an extremely striking photo for several different reasons. To start off, the colors in this photo are beautiful. The gold, blue, brown and yellow shades compliment eachother perfectly creating a very magical image. Also the golden tones of the rocks bring out the peachy-golden shades among the blue clouds. I know this is a little late, but it relates to the actual final project much more.

Originally, I had planned to do what was going to be titled "The Pajama Series: A Drowsy Reflection on Shanghai" and it would be a compare/contrast piece on the many dichotomies in Shanghai, especially in relation to the differences between local Shanghainese life and expatriate life. How do you guys plan to trace all the towers in the bund? Maybe you could use the towers just as a backdrop; that would be nice. Perhaps go up really high somewhere and get a nice view and then do some light paintings.
