This picture is so neat. It seems like it is in black and white but it isn't with the yellow and the pure-ish white. The motion with the bus or what it is, then the fact it is turning giving it a perceptive makes it interesting and making you're eye…

This picture is very interesting, because firstly the color. There is a very vivid grey and then there is a sharp yellow with kind of creates a strong contrast and makes the image very striking and lures the viewer to keep on looking at the picture.…

I agree. I think the boats have great symmetry but the picture overall isn't the best. The civilization towards the right really throw the picture off balance for me. Furthermore, the boat to the right is a little closer, making the right side of th…

Yeah, I like the symmetry, the similarity of the two boats and the perspective going on in this picture. However, i do think that it kind of looks too perfect and the house at the background keeps dragging my eyes off the page. Also, the vanishing p…

Hi Bradley, that's a great idea but would be incredibly difficult. It might be easier to plan something that you can photograph at the library and incorporate things you photograph elsewhere.

Sure, nicely done Bradley. Perhaps you can build on that theme. Create a couple of photographs based around the idea that the library is a boat. Where does it go? What do people see? What happens to the boat? You could take that idea in any direction.

This picture is interesting because of its color. The composition is a bit different than the traditional landscape which makes it quite interesting... The color however is good. There is a lot of contrasting colors, like red and green which compliment one another. The red trees stand out because of the green backround. However, the tree on the right is quite destracting because it is big and forms a border ruining the comp. The sky is al… Continue

Shimon Attie:

His works are very interesting, there is a sense of a lot of color. He takes pictures concerned with questions of memory, place, and identity, Shimon Attie gives visual form to both personal and collective memories. He uses faded colors but they are still striking and give to the sense of composition to it. Then he in some photos adds in like other images into like a wall, giving viewers a sense of what is going on. He uses text in some on his pics, where he adds them onto the wal… Continue

This photo is particularly interesting as it is a HDR and its color. First, the colors of the photo bring one another out. The dullness of the colors, complement one another and the orange+ the greyish blue. Also the reflective surface of the road makes the pictures seems like it is flipped over to make the bottom part. Also the perspective of the photo makes it very interesting as your eyes are lured to the center and you look around there where al… Continue

WEEK 3

This picture is very interesting, because firstly the color. There is a very vivid grey and then there is a sharp yellow with kind of creates a strong contrast and makes the image very striking and lures the viewer to keep on looking at the picture. Then the dull blue water, help contribute the to the color as the strong colors are balanced out by the dull water. There is also some white waves. Then there is a perspective, the island and the boat and the sky all seem to go to the center making i… Continue

WEEK 2-

http://flickr.com/photos/ankegroeneveld/2053202474/

This picture of the two boats is quite interesting. First, the perspective is very interesting in the middle of the two boats is a dock going into the distance making you look straight down the middle and at the boats. Next, the color in the pic is quite vivid making it a striking picture. The dark blue boats, and the light blue water and sky go well, with the orangish brown dock. Then the boats, both have symmetry except for some of the col… Continue
