While although simple in subject and placement, this photo still stands to be quite striking. The most obvious thing about this photo that is appealing is its color. The light green-ness reflects the subject entirely. It reflects the salty ocean a…

I think the two things that makes this image to complete is the repetition of a pattern and the eyes of the girl. the repetition gives the image its good composition while the eyes create the overall feeling. The eyes, compounded with the general gr…

http://flickr.com/photos/vzozaya/3288066177/ I think the one thing everyone can recognize in this photo is the color. The color is amazing. Especially nowadays, the color green takes on a new meaning, and thus can change a picture completely. To me…

For me this photo is all about the value of the black and whites. The tone sets the setting for things like texture in the case of this photo. I don't think without the work of the different tones, the texture could have been as impacting.

The Photo: http://flickr.com/photos/departurelounge/3258885623/ For me this is just a beautiful photo. What really makes this photo for me, in reference to the elements of design, is its color and texture. Texture is incredibly important in this pi…

There is so much in this photo that I absolutely love. Foremost, this photo is most likely photoshopped to look old, yet its vintage stlye still seems authentic without looking fake and badly taken. The bluriness adds another demension to this photo. The bluriness along with the subject of this solitary person, really creates a great haunt… Continue

For me, this phot is all about story telling. While although I dont think this photo meant to, it gives a nice tale of industrialization at the cost of the enviorment. The destruction of the enviornment (symbolized by the tree with no leaves) is reflected upon a brand new shiny building. This building represents industrialization and progress, but it also ref… Continue

Frist off, there is so much going on in this photograph that makes it visually enticing, that it is hard to pinpoint the underlying factor that makes it interesting. What for me makes it interesting, is the choice of desaturizing it to the point where there is almost no color, only little shades. This seems like a very intersting choice, considering the v… Continue

To put it simply enough, this photo is just cool to look at. One of my favorite things about this photo is the smoke that is rising from the blue light bulb. This obviously has to be photoshoped, but yet it looks completely natural and adds a whole thing to look at in the picture. Its as if the light was once red, but since it has blown out, the sur… Continue
