This photo uses a good use of depth of field, which makes me really like the idea of the photo beacuase it appears to be a fantasy type of photo. The color of the photo makes it feel warm and unreal which ads to the fantasy style created. the many ...

I like this photo. The centering of the mountain lets the viewer see the steepness of the mountain and really adds to the name of the photo. The color contrast of the person and the mountain is really nice. The whole focus and grain quality of the...

Nice photo, the absince of objects suppoorts the theme of winter and death. It really makes the background look cold and bitter. The depth of field is nice and allows the background to blur and change tones. The tree on the left of the photo is ni...

i liked thisa photo because the colors were amazing. The ho hum tutorial must have been used or the saturation was played with because these colors are definitely photoshopped bgut still look nice. The threee color light sign is in the rule of thirds area and pulls your eye to that. the contrast between the lights and the background buildings help the lights stand out. I really like how the first light you see is the red blue and green cross light but your ewye follows the line of the light posts… Continue

this photo is eye catching. its not very happening but it is still interesting. I think the combination of the bright colorsa with the dark background and the forst nature appearence makes the light in the woods interesting. I do think that the pool takes away from the nice colors of the background and its a little distracting from what is really happening but the poool also works with the backgorund because it is complimentry and contrasts w… Continue

this hpto is not very interesting, object wise. The one thing about it that works though is the coloring and lighitng. They both work perfvectly together. The lighting is phenominal. The cxolors in the sky really work well with this lighitng and stanbd out more since it is dusk time and the sun is setting. The orange blends with the white in the sky making it look creamy and it gives it alot of interesting texture. there are other components w… Continue

the photo has very nice colors in it. i like the contrast in the blue light from the sky and the suns light and the reflection it leaves on the ice. The swan in the middle creates a bullseye but since the background and it are so dark it meshes together and is not too disturbing. I cvant tell what the gorund is, it may be water or it may be ice. its surreal in that sense and i like it for that reason. the photo has good balance to it. Also t… Continue

kais indy project

my idea for my project is to use surreealism and abstract color to portray this one authors sdtyle. van cleave is his name and he does alot of abstract sky and building work. i want to show this biuilding in downton shanghai and have vines crawling up the buildings and decaying the city tyaking away the color and absorbing it into the vines and flowers on the vines. This works well with the final project because i can draw atleast ten pictures of different stages of shanghai being taken over by… Continue
