Shimon Attie:
His works are very interesting, there is a sense of a lot of color. He takes pictures concerned with questions of memory, place, and identity, Shimon Attie gives visual form to both personal and collective memories. He uses faded colors but they are still striking and give to the sense of composition to it. Then he in some photos adds in like other images into like a wall, giving viewers a sense of what is going on. He uses text in some on his pics, where he adds them onto the wall to give the photo extra meaning.
Robert Frank:
There was not much on this man, but his photos are actually quite interesting where they are only in b/w, and have depth of field making the focus less board and keeps viewers in one place to study the photo faster. His other photos are interesting also, because he takes them and cuts them into squares than re-places them in a interesting order making it interesting and confusing. Also, he has certain colors that stand out from the rest giving the photo a "boom"
These photographers inspire me because of their simple but unique ways for taking a simple photo. This way
when i combine these ideas, they will be a bit different because of the colors and focus of the photo, making it more than just a normal picture.
This year i learned quite a few things. the light paint to me was the most rewarding because you could do what you wanted while keeping it interesting even though the design can be simple.
