A Network for Student Photographers
Independent Project Proposal #2- The Remake
For my independent project, I have decided to use a light painting/Narrative base with incorporation of the different words below.
{Life, Love, Peace, Happy, Sadness, Anger, Dull, Sick, Tired, Annoy, Flirt, Playful}
For each of the 12 photos I will have one word for each photo each with a different light painting theme to it. Meaning for the first photo using the word "Life" i would have a somesort of aspect of life, plus with the word written out in light painting, and also the background will support the word. To emphasize on the background part of the word, "Life" for example could possibly have the photo taken in a crowd of people. This would go on for each of the words, each telling the expression of the word and the story that goes behind it, in somewhat of a narrative type of way.
The photographer which I have found is a famous light graffiti artist by the name of Michael Bosanko. I will model his work except for instead of having light painting characters as the main image i will use a human and have the lightpainting worked to support the image.
The flickr photographer that i found MaVeRicK_87, shows somewhat my idea of having the main subject being the person supported by something light painted. Ofcourse, i would make my photo more interesting with a better a background and what not.
