This picture is truly amazing. There is a very strong. The buildings towards the front, even though relatively small, the viewer knows to be small. The massive Empire State in sort of the middle of the Depth of the picture, is huge and is therefore rather large in the picture. This picture also follows the rule of thirds. The Empire State in the middle and the main focus, the lights on the top, are about a third from the top. One thing I don't like about the picture is the balance. Its balanced how the Empire State is right in the middle of the frame and there are buildings around it, but there are lights on the buildings to the left, which definitely tips the balance. I also love the texture of the sky. The texture seems to be that of a mist/fog and its unclear whether or not it is raining. It is really fitting to the black and white color theme as it seems dark and almost scary.

this photo has a very good contrast and i like how there are scratches and like stains on the photo graph it makes like look old. it has a nice depth of field too.
