There is so much about this photograph that make it almost perfect. To begin, the rule of thirds holds true with the deer placed in the bottom left corner. It is important for the deer to be placed on a thirds vertex because it is the main subject of the photo. The viewer's eyes are also drawn to deer because of the many leading lines. The branches create oblique leading lines to the sun shining through the back of the forest. Once the viewer is focused on the bright sun shining through, their eyes are immediately drawn to the deer as it the most dominant figure lit up. Oblique lines are supposed to suggest movement and action. This makes sense in this photo because the photographer most likely took a snapshot of the deer moving through the forest. The lighting in this photo is beautiful. As i mentioned before, the branches keep sun from lighting up the entire photo but the patch where no branches exist creates a tunnel image of brightness. The tree trunks in the foreground of this photo frame the photo and draw the viewers attention to the other important aspects. To conclude, the colors are all very soft shades of orange, yellow, green and brown that compliment each other to create a serene and calm image. The title "Let there be light" makes perfect sense because the light shining through the branches creates an aurora-like image around the deer.
